2. Hosting & server log files

This website is operated by an external web hosting provider within the EU. When the website is accessed, the server automatically records information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of access, the file requested, the volume of data transferred, the referrer URL as well as browser and operating system information.

This data serves solely the technically error-free operation, the security and the optimisation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted automatically after a short time.

3. Contact by email

If you contact us by email (e.g. via the “Request a quote” link), your details will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) GDPR (handling your enquiry). We do not pass this data on without your consent and delete it as soon as processing is complete and no statutory retention obligations conflict.

4. Fonts (Google Fonts)

To display fonts consistently, this website uses web fonts provided by Google (Google Ireland Limited). When a page is accessed, your browser loads the required fonts, whereby your IP address may be transmitted to Google. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our online offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.

5. External libraries (CDN)

For animations and smooth scrolling, technical libraries are loaded via content delivery networks (jsDelivr, Cloudflare). Here too your IP address may be transmitted to the respective provider. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a technically functional and appealing website).

6. Cookies & analytics

This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics or marketing tools. No profiling takes place.

7. Your rights

You generally have the rights to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). To exercise them, a message to hello@hotel-slipper.at is sufficient.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna.
